Let’s say you're sending out a newsletter promoting a new product. Here's the customer experience for both with and without Start to Finish.

Without Start to Finish

1. From the email, the customer clicks a link to the product page.
2. On the product page, the customer adds the product to their cart.
3. On the cart, the customer clicks “Checkout”.
4. On the checkout page, the customer remembers the email contained a discount code.
5. Customer goes back to the email, copies the discount code.
6. Customer returns to the checkout page, pastes the discount code and activates it.
7. Customer fills out their email and shipping information, and finishes checking out.

With Start to Finish

1. From the email, the customer clicks a Start to Finish link, taking them to the checkout page.
2. On the checkout page, the product is in the cart, the customer information is entered, and the discount is activated, so the customer simply finishes checking out.

Every step along the way adds friction and customers drop off. By eliminating steps and pushing users directly to checkout, you are exponentially increasing your conversion rate.

More customers reaching the checkout means more sales!
